A continent of 50 sovereign states, all with their own valued culture and languages. Yet there is nowhere else in the world where it is so easy to move from country to country without the benefit of not having to deal with visas.
Europe has always been a region of powerful empires, leaving behind millennia of history and records, with much of the old architecture still intact. Europe has modernised well, with cosmopolitan cities, quaint villages and picturesque landscapes.
The climate varies from snow-covered mountains in the alps to the white beaches of the Mediterranean. You will find it difficult to run out of places to visit!
